Ali Simpson is the Director for Field Campaigns for Moms Clean Air Force, directing local, state, and federal campaigns to ensure a safer future for all children.
With nearly two decades of experience in political advocacy strategy and campaign management, Ali has devoted her career to fighting climate change. In addition to directing issue advocacy campaigns at Moms, she also leads our Get Out the Vote (GOTV) civic engagement work, and manages Moms’ C4 political action partner, Clean Air Moms Action.
Before joining the Moms team, Ali worked in political consulting and on numerous field campaigns for candidates and ballot propositions, serving in a variety of roles, including organizer, field director, and Get Out the Vote mobilization director. Ali also spent time working for a human rights organization in Cape Town, South Africa, where she focused on health policy. In 2016, she earned her master’s degree in Public Administration from New York University. Her work with Moms Clean Air Force has been highlighted in the New York Times, The 19th, and Crain’s New York Business.
Ali was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and currently lives in Bedford, New York, with her wife, two sons, and dog. When she’s not fighting for clean air, Ali spends her free time playing with her kids, setting her fantasy teams’ lineups, and catching a ball game every chance she gets.
