The youth plaintiffs of Held v. State of Montana were back at the Montana Supreme Court this month to defend their constitutional right to a “clean and healthful environment.” Our field organizer in the state, Michelle Uberuaga, traveled to Helena to stand in solidarity with the youth, just as she did last year.
For residents of Big Sky Country, being outdoors is a way of life. But climate impacts, such as a longer and more intense wildfire season, are threatening it. Michelle talks about how these changes are affecting Montanans in an interview with Montana Public Radio.
