
To close out Women’s History Month, our Program Coordinator, Luz Drada (pictured), penned an op-ed published in El Diario (in Spanish) that describes climate change as a “threat multiplier,” meaning that it has the potential to make existing problems worse. Luz explains how the climate crisis exacerbates gender-based violence and how air pollution contributes to pregnancy complications—and makes the case for more female representation in climate policymaking.
