I’ll keep this short and simple. I’m asking you to make a plan and VOTE.
FIND OUT WHAT IS ON YOUR BALLOT AND MAKE A PLAN TO VOTE
If your email inbox, messaging apps, and home mailbox are anything like mine, you’ve been inundated with election-related requests. And it all comes down to tomorrow … Election Day.
If you don’t have a plan yet, make one. Here are some tips to consider:
- If you are unsure of your polling place or want to double-check your voter registration, you can look up both here.
- Then, block off the time on your calendar to VOTE.
- Reach out to friends and family who still need to vote and invite them to come with you.
- If you need to book childcare to vote, do that today, or plan to bring your children to the polls with you (they get stickers!!).
- Finally, make sure you have blocked enough time to travel to/from your polling place and possibly wait in line.
It truly is the most consequential election in my lifetime. Never mind the future—we are voting in this election to ensure our lawmakers protect our children’s health now.
Our votes will determine how the climate crisis, air pollution, and toxic chemicals are addressed at all levels of government. This is why it’s critical to get to the polls if you haven’t already.
Tomorrow is Election Day, and it is time to make your voice heard. Please make a plan and get out and vote … and encourage your friends and family to as well.
