It’s that time of year again! We’re excited to announce that we are partnering with Healthy Schools Network this Spring for the fifth year in a row to host a Twitter chat in celebration of the 15th annual National Healthy Schools Day. The chat will focus on the importance of keeping toxics out of schools and breathing easy in the classroom–we couldn’t think of a better time to educate new leaders!
Why is healthy air so important in school? (Tweet this) The average American child spends 1,260 hours per year in school. When school air quality is unhealthy, little learners suffer. Poor indoor air quality in schools is linked to decreased concentration and lower test scores. Keeping school air clean must be a priority for our children to help them reach their full potential.
Is your child’s school promoting a healthy environment? Are there steps you can take to make your child’s school environment even healthier?
Please join us for an informative Twitter chat. We will discuss these questions and more!
