Danielle Berkowitz-Sklar

Danielle Berkowitz-Sklar is the Project Manager for National Events and EcoMadres for Moms Clean Air Force. Her upbringing and work through the nonprofit she co-founded in Costa Rica and California led to her passion for centering people and health in climate action. She enjoys working in coalitions and has led community-based projects to engage youth and underserved communities in environmental conservation research and fieldwork.

Some of her experiences have involved climate-smart agriculture, mangrove and rainforest reforestation, inclusive fisheries governance, and ocean science and technology. Now, she is excited to join Moms Clean Air Force to advocate for clean air for future generations.

Danielle recently graduated from Cornell University, where she studied Global Development with minors in Climate Change, Inequality and Migrations Studies, and French. Danielle has been featured on CNN en Español, NBC Bay Area, Green Matters, Yale Climate Connections, El Tiempo Latino, and Telemundo Área de la Bahía.
