As 2023 comes to a close, I can unequivocally state that this year stands out as one of the most important in our fight for clean air since we started Moms Clean Air Force 12 years ago.
The advocacy of Moms’ members helped accomplish so much:
- We pushed EPA to finalize unprecedented and comprehensive protections to cut methane pollution from oil and gas operations.
- We provided more than 300 testimonies at EPA hearings.
- We delivered more than 110,000 petitions to EPA and Congress.
- We worked on the ground to ensure the successful transition to electric school buses in local school districts.
- We expanded our work on air and climate pollution, turning our attention to harmful pollutants from the plastics and petrochemical industry.
These wins are only possible with the support of our members. Each and every person who takes action with Moms Clean Air Force has played a significant role in the successes of this year!
Thanks to all of you who have signed a petition, tagged a legislator on social media, testified in front of EPA, attended a local or virtual event, or donated to support our work.
In these last few days of the year, as I reflect on the legacy that Moms will leave for our children and grandchildren, I want to send a heartfelt thank you and congratulations! We still have much more work to do, but I promise it is sustainable, renewable, and possible with your ongoing support.
We are changing the world.
