Plastics contain thousands of toxic chemicals — like BPA, PFAS, phthalates, flame retardants, and heavy metals. Those chemicals move out of plastics and into our air, our bodies, our soil, and our food. Making plastic releases air pollution. We have a plastics crisis. And a health crisis.
