Brooke is Moms’ Project Manager for Implementation. She lives in South Philadelphia with her partner, their teenager, and their rescue pup, Harlow. Brooke grew up in Massachusetts and spent her childhood exploring and imagining in the woods. During those formative years, she developed an abiding love for nature and a deep concern over humanity’s negative impact on the environment.
After moving to Pennsylvania 20 years ago, Brooke grew increasingly aware of the vital role that her adopted state must play in tackling the global crisis of climate change. She wants to see Pennsylvania lead the nation in reducing air pollution and in enacting bold, forward-thinking environmental policy.
Brooke’s passion and care for the natural world has remained a focus throughout her professional life. Over a decade ago, she started a small business focused on helping folks make sustainable choices and reduce household waste. Before she became a project manager, Brooke was a field organizer in Pennsylvania for five years and volunteered with Moms for four years. She loves that working for Moms allows her to put her deepest held values—of civic duty and responsibility to care for the planet and for each other—into action.
