🎤 In June 2026, 17 Moms from across the country testified before EPA to defend strong Clean Cars Standards and protect the clean air our families depend on.
Liz Hurtado, Connecticut mom of four and leader of EcoMadres, spoke about the real impact air pollution has on children and communities. She highlighted the alarming rates of asthma affecting children and the disproportionate burden of pollution faced by Latino, Black, and other communities of color across the country.
With more than 156 million people in the U.S. living in areas with unhealthy air pollution, strong vehicle pollution standards are one of the most effective tools we have to reduce harmful soot and smog.
Watch Liz’s testimony and hear why parents are calling on EPA to put children’s health first and fully implement the Clean Cars Standards. 💙
