Washington, DC – Alexandra Zissu, Moms Clean Air Force’s “Mom Detective,” is available to speak to media about how to choose safer products for ourselves and our families. Alexandra delves into a new case every two weeks for her Mom Detective column, which most recently covered Halloween and how to navigate the world of toxic face paints, chemical-laden costumes, and more.

Our Mom Detective, Alexandra, has been featured in Martha Stewart and SheKnows, and was a speaker on a climate consumer panel last month at Climate Week NYC. She is also the author of six books about the connections between environment and health: Earth Squad, Get on Top, The Conscious Kitchen, Planet Home, The Complete Organic Pregnancy, and The Butcher’s Guide to Well-Raised Meat. She is a leadership member of the Childhood Cancer Prevention Initiative, a member of the New York State Cancer Consortium Environmental Carcinogen Group, and sits on the board of Clean + Healthy New York.
