Moms closed out 2023 on a high note after EPA finalized comprehensive pollution protections that are poised to slash methane pollution from oil and gas operations. But the work doesn’t end there.
- It’s up to states to implement and enforce these critical protections. In an op-ed published in the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Pennsylvania organizer Vanessa Lynch calls on her Governor to enact the strongest possible safeguards without delay.
- States have other tools to cut methane, too—and they should use them. Colorado field organizer Laurie Anderson (pictured above) penned an op-ed for Colorado Politics, calling on her home state to follow through on its move to monitor and curb methane pollution.
