Pittsburgh CCAC Solar Site Tour with Congressman Deluzio

Join PennFuture, CVPA, PennEnvironment, and Moms Clean Air Force with Congressman Chris Deluzio to showcase how clean energy projects are already flourishing in the region thanks to federal clean energy tax credits. We’ll start off with a press conference that touts the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC)’s 543 kilowatt solar installation that will produce enough electricity to power 30-40% of its North Campus’s energy needs.

We will also showcase CCAC’s electric vehicle (EV) apprenticeship program that launched earlier this year that combines paid training with technical education to meet the demand for skilled EV technicians. 

Attendees will be able to access the roof to view the solar installation. A variety of electric vehicles will also be available to view and ask questions as well.
