Mother’s Day Cafecito

Join EcoMadres and the Climate Power Education Fund on May 14 for a virtual cafecito about motherhood and climate activism.

Climate change increases the intensity and frequency of extreme weather and heat waves, magnifies the threat of wildfires, and can make air pollution worse. About 8 out of 10 Latinos say addressing global climate change is either a top concern or one of several important concerns to them personally. Safeguarding the planet for future generations is a cherished value in Latino culture, and by creating dialogue around the ways in which we can protect Mother Earth, we hope to empower others to join the climate movement.
