First Annual Commerce City EcoFiesta

Moms Clean Air Force will join Cultivando and our partners in Colorado for a celebration of the Commerce City community’s vision to transition beyond Suncor to a safe, healthy, and just environment.

EcoFiesta 2021 will be a day filled with education, interactive engagement, activities, and family fun. We’ll learn about monitoring the air pollution from the Suncor refinery in our community and advocating for the denial of the refinery’s Title V pollution permit. We’ll celebrate the kickoff of Cultivando’s community-led environmental justice project that will include the continuous monitoring of Suncor’s air pollution and an evaluation of the possible health risks to our community. Together, we can work toward a safer, healthier, and more just environment!

The festival will include exciting environmental justice speakers, FREE food, kids’ activities, live music and entertainment, and plenty of opportunities to learn more about getting involved with local nonprofits working on air quality and justice issues.
