As kids kick off their new school year, Moms Clean Air Force is sharing simple hacks for making lunches more eco-friendly. Moms’ Associate Vice President Isabel González Whitaker (pictured) tells the Boston Globe that small changes like buying lunch containers from secondhand stores or swapping a paper napkin for a cloth one can make a difference and save families money.
The best part? These swaps are good for our kids. In an interview with WRAL News, Isabel points out that cutting down on plastic food and drink containers reduces our families’ exposure to microplastics and PFAS.
