ARIZONA
In April 2026, Moms Clean Air Force organizer Pita Juarez joined State Senator Lauren Kuby and other local leaders to stand up against the Trump administration’s scorched earth approach to environmental policy.

CALIFORNIA
In September 2025, Kids Clean Air Force joined Senator Alex Padilla and Representative Mike Levin to call on EPA to continue setting limits on greenhouse gas pollution from power plants, cars, and trucks.

COLORADO
In April 2026, Moms’ Shaina Oliver, an enrolled member of the Navajo, and Liz Hurtado spoke at the National Tribal Forum on Air Quality, now in its 25th year.

GEORGIA
Moms’ Kiya Stanford stood with state lawmakers, health professionals, and other furious advocates in Atlanta in February 2026 to speak out against EPA’s decision to revoke the Endangerment Finding and stop cutting climate pollution.

IOWA
In September 2025, at the second annual EcoMadres Summit, Karin Stein led EcoMadres’ band SonTierra, which uses music to foster trust and connection within Latino communities and to encourage action.

MICHIGAN
Congresswoman Hillary Scholten (MI-3) joined Michigan Moms to champion the Energy Bills Relief Act and its real solutions to rising household electricity costs at a press event in May 2026 in Grand Rapids.

NEVADA
In May 2026, EcoMadres’ Mary Wagner sat down with Congresswoman Dina Titus for an extreme heat roundtable in Las Vegas, one of the fastest-warming cities in the U.S.

NEW MEXICO
In January 2026, Moms’ Giovanna Rossi traveled to the State Capitol for New Mexico’s second annual Climate & Health Lobby Day to support the Clear Horizons Act—which would establish a long-term state plan to cut climate pollution.

NORTH CAROLINA

WEST VIRGINIA
In April 2026, Moms’ Lani Wean spoke at a press event about a proposed plastic incineration facility in West Virginia that could burn up to 200 tons of plastic daily, emitting harmful pollution into the surrounding community.
