We were thrilled when we heard Moms Clean Air Force partner, Healthy Schools Network, is releasing a report next week providing a state-by-state look at the health of schools in our country. According to the Healthy Schools Network, schools are practically unregulated indoor environments. The air quality in schools has been linked to asthma and respiratory ailments, and has measurable impacts on the health and productivity of students and teachers.
In honor of the release of this important report, we are hosting a Twitter chat to discuss issues surrounding school health, with a focus on indoor air pollution. We are excited to have the National Association of School Nurses joining us as a special guest, as well as our very own Public Health Policy and Outreach Manager, Molly Rauch, who will kick off the chat with a Q&A session.
Have a question for Molly concerning school air quality? Leave it in the comments below and we will randomly select one question to be asked during the chat!
