Truth About Ozone in Colorado

The Denver Metro/North Front Range area of Colorado as in ‘severe’ nonattainment for ozone pollution according to EPA, and the state is telling us to drive less to solve the problem. In reality, Colorado’s oil and gas operations cause 1.5 times more ozone pollution than driving cars. Residents of our state are doing our part; the oil and gas industry needs to do their part to fight ozone pollution too.
Join Moms Clean Air Force and our partners for a virtual panel discussion featuring experts, youth leaders, and impacted community members. The state needs to do more to model minor sources, including oil and gas wells; increase collaboration between state agencies; and address cumulative impacts in a meaningful way.
