Protecting Colorado Workers in Extreme Temperatures Press Conference

Join Colorado Moms for a press conference in support of  HB26-1272, “Protecting Colorado Workers in Extreme Temperatures,” which will establish clear, enforceable statewide protections for indoor and outdoor workers increasingly exposed to dangerous heat and cold. Coalition partners, bill sponsors, and impacted workers will address the media to explain the need for this legislation.
Speakers include:
  • House Sponsors – Rep. Elizabeth Velasco (HD-57) and Rep. Meg Froelich (HD-3);
  • Senate Sponsors – Sen. Lisa Cutter (SD-20) and Sen. Michael Weissman (SD-28);
  • Coalition partners and impacted workers sharing their experiences and the importance of protection from preventable workplace injuries and illnesses caused by temperature extremes
