It’s Electric! Why a Transition to Electric Vehicles Makes Sense for Florida Families

As part of Florida Climate Week, Moms Clean Air Force will host a virtual presentation about why gas and diesel-powered medium and heavy-duty vehicles are toxic to our community’s health and why we need to transition to zero-emission vehicles. Florida field organizer Emily Pickett and National Field Manager Liz Hurtado will share why electric school buses in particular are a big focus for Moms Clean Air Force and what we are doing to push Florida school districts to adopt them. Our audience will learn how they can become an advocate for electric school buses in their towns.
