Dr. Tonya Calhoun worked in the field of volunteer management before joining Moms Clean Air Force. Tonya believes that clean air is a fundamental right and understands that many Americans are denied that right every day in communities across the country. She is an avid volunteer in her Atlanta, Georgia community, serving in leadership positions on a myriad of nonprofit boards in Metro-Atlanta. Tonya holds a BA from Spelman College, an MPA from Troy University, and a PhD in non-profit management and leadership from Walden University. She loves football, gumbo, scrapbooking, camping, eating her way through various cultures, and traveling. Tonya lives with her wonderful husband, Alzay.
