Rev. Dr. Dorthea E. Fondren is an ordained interfaith minister, spiritual counselor, holistic therapist, and published author.
She is also the CEO and Founder of The Modern Women in Leadership Commission whose mission is to educate and empower young women of color to increase their leadership capabilities while focusing on spiritual and personal development.
As female empowerment and environmental justice organizer focusing on sustainable environmental design, she advocates on behalf of environmental and women’s health issues.
With the heart of a public servant, she is also an NAACP National Environmental and Climate Justice Ambassador.
In each capacity, she aims to help be the change she wishes to see in a healthier, cleaner, and more just society for generations to come. She is a Detroit native who now resides as a dual residency in West Los Angeles with her loving husband and two beautiful daughters.
