Emily is an editorial and member cultivation coordinator for Moms Clean Air Force. She lives in Tampa with her husband, two elementary-school-aged children, a beagle pup, and a rescue kitty. Emily is a lifelong Floridian, growing up in Crystal River, where she developed a love for the outdoors spending her weekends at her family’s marina.
After receiving her bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from the University of Florida, Emily handled marketing communications for a global technology company where she developed a variety of marketing content, supported events, and managed several rebranding and product launch projects.
Eight years into her career, Emily became a stay-at-home mom and decided to shift her focus to volunteer and advocacy work. She serves as president of her local elementary school Parent Teacher Association and recently graduated with her master’s degree in Mass Communication, focusing on Public Interest Communication, from the University of Florida.
Emily previously worked as Moms’ Florida State Organizer, growing and engaging Florida’s volunteer base and encouraging school districts across the state to adopt electric school buses. Her work has been featured in The Orlando Sentinel, WUSF, Miami Herald, and The Invading Sea.
