Emily Petrucci is the Eastern Pennsylvania Field Organizer for Moms Clean Air Force. Fueled by a mother’s love, Emily believes that solutions can be found to the biggest environmental problems our children face through organizing with fellow parents, grandparents, and caregivers. She has delivered testimony related to methane emissions, volatile organic compounds, soot, mercury, and power plant pollution and worked to encourage Pennsylvania to adopt the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative. Living in the second largest natural-gas-producing state in the nation, Emily believes that Pennsylvanians can make great strides in improving air quality, curbing climate change, and affecting health outcomes for our children.
Emily resides in the greater Philadelphia area with her husband and two daughters. She has an undergraduate degree in psychology and a master’s degree in education, and she most recently worked in Montessori education. She believes that every child deserves to breathe clean air and look forward to a healthy climate future. She loves to spend time with her family and friends and take long family walks in her community.
