Barbara Weber is a mission-driven climate storyteller, strategist, and longtime environmental advocate serving as the California Organizer for Moms Clean Air Force. With more than 16 years of experience in clean energy, climate communications, and community engagement, Barbara has dedicated her career to helping people understand—and act on—the most urgent environmental issues of our time.
As one of the earliest full-time hires at Protect Our Winters, Barbara helped grow the nonprofit into a nationally recognized climate advocacy leader, guiding campaigns and partnerships that mobilized outdoor communities and elevated climate voices across the country. She has since led clean energy marketing and strategic communications for mission-driven organizations at DG+Design, supporting climate, environmental, and sustainability clients in marketing and communications efforts that move the clean energy transition forward.
Barbara brings to Moms her passion for storytelling, public engagement, and climate justice to support families and communities working to protect clean air and a healthy future for all children. She currently lives in Santa Monica and returns often to her home state of Michigan and the freshwater landscapes that continue to inspire her commitment to this work.
