EPA’s proposed standards for soot, also known as particle pollution or PM 2.5, are tremendously disappointing. Soot pollution is extremely dangerous, and no amount of it is safe for us to breathe.
On February 22, 2023, Moms Clean Air Force hosted a workshop about EPA’s soot proposal and ways we can urge the agency to do more to protect our families and communities from this harmful pollution.
During this workshop, we covered the details of the soot rule and helped participants write personal comments for a stronger rule.
