Everyone knows we have a plastics problem. But instead of making less plastic, the plastics industry is pushing false solutions that protect profits, not our health.
Now they're asking Congress to pass three bills that would make it easier to label products as recyclable when they're not, claim "recycled content" that may not actually be there, and burn plastic while releasing hazardous air pollution.
The real solution isn't more greenwashing. It's making less plastic. Tell lawmakers to stand up to these dishonest and dangerous bills.
