On October 22, our Ecomadres hosted a powerful discussion with a focus on the passion and practicalities of voting in the Latino community.
Our first segment is about the power of the Latino vote and features stories of voting and empowering others to vote. The conversation, moderated by Corazon Latino’s Nicole Randall, features Ecomadres organizers and moms Columba Sainz from Phoenix, Arizona, Cinthia Zermeno Moore from Las Vegas, Nevada, and Yaritza Perez from Orlando, Florida.
Our second segment digs into the practicalities of voting access in Latino communities. Esther Sosa, Project Manager for the Environmental Defense Fund’s Diverse Partners Initiative, speaks to Jose Morales, Deputy Director for Voter Protection at Fair Fight Action. The two will offer resources and advice for planning your vote and making sure it’s counted this election and in every election.
