Hello, I’m Isabel González Whitaker, Associate Vice President of Moms Clean Air Force and Director of EcoMadres.
We’re nearing the end of 2023 and taking stock of all we accomplished this year. From delivering thousands of written comments to EPA and Congress, to empowering dozens of people to testify in person on bills and regulations, to helping local communities speak up, we’ve been BUSY protecting children from air and climate pollution.
Over the last 12 years, our red shirts have become VERY familiar to policy makers in Congress and regulators at EPA. And we’ve seen historic progress on protections from air pollution and climate pollution. That’s not a coincidence.
