WHAT:
EPA Administrator Michael Regan and Chelsea Clinton, together with Moms Clean Air Force’s Director & Co-Founder Dominique Browning and leading researchers, policy-makers, mental health experts, doctors, and environmental justice advocates at the Inaugural Moms Clean Air Force Climate Disruption, Air Pollution, and Young People’s Health summit on February 8, 2024 from 8am-11am.
The event will be livestreamed by Parents and highlight the intersections and public health impacts of air pollution, climate change, and extreme weather, with a special focus on children and families. Administrator Regan and Ms. Clinton, together with distinguished panelists, will discuss the challenges and solutions surrounding climate change and young people. Special attention will be given to understanding the unique vulnerability of developing babies, children, and adolescents to the impacts of climate disruption and air pollution, while offering a path forward to crucial opportunities to shape a brighter future for younger generations.
