Atlanta, GA — This Earth Day roundtable, titled “The Department of Interior’s Role in Restoring Our Earth and Georgia,” seeks to heighten awareness of the Department of Interior’s desire to take bold action to preserve public lands and waters, and invest in clean energy.

WHAT: The collective experience of the panelists draws from decades of environmental justice organizing, Indigenous identity, and implementation of the wide range of DOI environmental priorities. The panelists will discuss the role of the Department of Interior, the significance of Secretary Deb Haaland’s appointment, and the importance of the DOI to Georgia.
