West Virginia Community Meeting on Advanced Recycling

WV Citizen Action Group and Moms Clean Air Force are hosting an educational community meeting to discuss the Clean Seas WV plastic pyrolysis (or “chemical recycling”) facility in Belle, WV. The first half of the meeting will include a background on plastic pyrolysis, the health and pollution risks of pyrolysis facilities, the economic viability of the company, and information on regulatory processes necessary for this facility. During the second half, community members are encouraged to ask questions and discuss community wants and needs. Presenters will also share information on how community members can contribute to efforts regarding this facility in the near future.
