The People vs. Big Oil at the U.S. Supreme Court

Moms Clean Air Force is joining Fossil Free Media and Center for Climate Integrity for a rally outside the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday, October 5, as the Court hears arguments in Boulder v. Suncor. The case comes from Boulder’s lawsuit against ExxonMobil and Suncor for lying about the dangers of their fossil fuel products and the climate damages communities are now paying for. Big Oil is asking the Supreme Court to stop the case before Boulder ever gets its day in court.
This event will bring together people from across the country who have a stake in this fight—young people, healthcare professionals, climate disaster survivors, teachers, advocates, elected officials, farmers, and more. Our message: Communities deserve their day in court, and Big Oil shouldn’t get a special escape hatch from accountability.
