Tracy Sabetta is the Ohio state field coordinator. Her work focuses on preserving Ohio’s renewable energy and efficiency standards and building coalitions around climate advocacy issues. She currently serves in a leadership role with the Ohio Energy Table, the state’s energy advocacy network.
Tracy is a founding partner of Initiative Consulting, a government affairs and public relations firm located in Columbus, Ohio. Before starting Initiative Consulting in 2007, she was the campaign co-chair and media spokesperson for the American Cancer Society’s successful SmokeFreeOhio ballot initiative campaign, which made all workplaces in Ohio smoke-free. Tracy has also served as a legislative and policy aide in the Ohio legislature and has worked as a campaign manager and staff on US Senate and Ohio gubernatorial, legislative, and issue campaigns. Tracy’s work with Moms has been featured by the Highland County Press, Public News Service, WCSM Radio, WRDL FM, Leader Times, and Spectrum News 1.
Tracy is part of the Red Brick Alumni Society at her alma mater, Miami University, and has offered her time as a fundraiser for the Pickerington High School North Marching Band Boosters since 2013. She has a daughter who is a junior at Ohio State University majoring in chemistry and who has actively volunteered at Moms events since 2011.
