Erandi Treviño is the Texas state coordinator. She is a passionate environmentalist and equity and inclusion advocate with years of experience working in public policy. Her work with Moms has been featured by the Houston Chronicle, the Texas Observer, Public News Service, Univision Houston, la Red hispana, and Abuelas in Acción.
Before joining Moms Clean Air Force, she was a government relations policy assistant in Washington, DC, where she worked on education policy, nutrition, and financial regulations. During her time in DC, Erandi served as the Advocacy Fellow for the Fulbright Association and volunteered for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute.
Earlier in her career, Erandi assisted the Permanent Representative of Mexico to the United Nations in New York. She has degrees in International Relations and Latin American studies from Seton Hall University. Following graduation, she received a Fulbright Grant to teach English in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. While in Brazil, Erandi became fluent in Portuguese.
Erandi enjoys working in her garden, practicing yoga, and spending time with her family. She lives in Houston, Texas, and is a remote evening student at Fordham School of Law.
