Ana Rios is the New Mexico field coordinator for Moms Clean Air Force. She has a history of volunteering for environmental justice and immigration justice organizations. Ana’s work with Moms has been featured in the Albuquerque Journal, Carlsbad Current Argus, and Odessa American.
Ana has advocated for environmental justice initiatives at the state and federal levels. A few years ago, she joined a group of mothers, Promotoras y promotores, with the same interests in environmental justice. With Promotoras y promotores, she lobbied for electric school buses and community solar energy in New Mexico. After months of advocacy, the Community Solar Act was signed into law by Governor Lujan Grisham in April 2021.
Ana is a mother of three. She lives in Albuquerque and enjoys spending time with her family in open spaces, national parks, monuments, and forests.
