Moms Clean Air Force Reception Celebrates the Women of the 116th Congress

To celebrate the record number of women (102) serving in our 116th Congress, Moms Clean Air Force and the Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments co-hosted a reception on May 16th on Capitol Hill at which several Congresswomen spoke to a crowd of 200 attendees.

Congresswomen Kathy Castor (FL-14), Nanette D. Barragán (CA-44), Ann McLane Kuster (NH-2),Barbara Lee (CA-13), Lisa Blunt Rochester (DE-At Large District), Kim Schrier (WA-8) and Jan Schakowsky (IL-9) gave impassioned remarks about their unique path to power while affirming the need to fight for clean air protections on behalf of vulnerable populations.
