We have great news! Singer and advocate Raffi will be performing concerts the US this spring–and his concerts will be presented in association with Moms Clean Air Force!
Millions know Raffi for his work as a children’s entertainer whose string of gold and platinum-selling recordings in North America includes his classic, “Baby Beluga.”
Raffi has been called “the most popular children’s singer in the English-speaking world” (Washington Post) and “Canada’s all time children’s champion” (Toronto Star). Raffi albums and DVDs have sold over 15 million copies in Canada and the US, and his ecology album, Evergreen Everblue, has earned praise from the United Nations. It is a valued resource in environmental education.
Raffi developed a holistic philosophy called Child Honouring. The heart of this vision is expressed in, A Covenant for Honouring Children. Raffi calls for a “compassion revolution.”
So, if you are one of the estimated 10 million kids who grew up with Baby Beluga, or a parent or grandparent who can still recite all the words to his songs or someone who loves children’s music, you don’t want to miss these special Raffi concerts.
Many of us moms and dads of a certain age here at Moms Clean Air Force raised our children singing along with Raffi. I can still hum the words to Baby Beluga!” ~ MCAF co-founder, Dominique Browning
We support Raffi’s message that the world’s children should receive the respect and support they deserve, which is why we advocate for strong environmental safeguards for our children. And Raffi has been a supporter of MCAF’s clean air message:
All I Really Need is a Song in my Heart
And love in my family
And I need some clean water for drinking
And I need some clean air for breathing
So that I can grow up strong and take my place where I belong” ~ Raffi
