Dr. Hayhoe is an atmospheric scientist and associate professor of political science at Texas Tech University, where she is director of the Climate Science Center. Dr. Hayhoe, who is also an evangelical Christian and mother, recently starred in the first episode of the Showtime series, Years of Living Dangerously and was named to TIME magazine’s list of the 100 most influential people in the world.
