We want safe healthy playing fields!

High levels of lead have been found in some DC playing fields, and the proliferation of synthetic turf playgrounds exposes kids to toxic chemicals in places they should be safe! These surfaces can also become dangerously superheated on our hot DC days. Come share your concerns and ask DC Council to only install natural surfaces in our kids’ play areas.
