Warming Waters Virtual Earth Day Event

Monica Jahan Bose and Robin Bell will host Moms Clean Air Force and other partners for the WARMING WATERS Earth Day 50th Anniversary Virtual Event. WARMING WATERS is a public art project that engages the public in Washington, DC, and Katakhali Village, Bangladesh, in creating saris showcasing the theme of climate change. During this virtual event, Monica and Robin will present an installation showcase, videos, and images of the workshops plus video messages from Heran Sereke-Brhan, Executive Director, DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, Ben De Guzman, Director, DC Mayor’s Office On Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs, A. Tianna Scozzaro, Director, Gender Equity & Environment, Sierra Club, and Elizabeth Brandt, Regional Field Manager of Moms Clean Air Force.
