Transatlantic Forum for Environmental and Climate Justice

Moms Clean Air Force will join Pocacito and the BMW Center for German and European Studies for the 2023 Transatlantic Forum for Environmental and Climate Justice at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. This all-day event foregrounds the continuing work of organizers, activists, academics, and policy experts in the United States and Germany who are making sure that environmental and climate action is rooted in, and aspirational of, justice.

Moms Clean Air Force Colorado organizer Shaina Oliver will co-lead the forum’s first session, For A Just Transition, with Miranda Schreuers, Vernon Walker, and Gülcan Nitsch. This session will answer the questions: Who benefits from the energy transition? and How can that transition ensure expanded access to a livable, healthy environment?
