On March 31, we’ll rebroadcast Moms Clean Air Force’s Michigan coordinator Elizabeth Hauptman’s interview with Senator Debbie Stabenow about her work in the US Senate to fight air pollution and climate change. Elizabeth and the Senator also discuss what inspires her to lead on climate and how bold investments in climate will protect the health and future of kids in Michigan and beyond.
As a member of the Environment and Public Works Committee and a senior member of the Budget Committee and Finance Committee, Senator Stabenow is a leading voice in Congress on policies that address air pollution. She has championed legislation to enable more consumers to purchase zero-emission vehicles, funding for critically important public health programs, and efforts to ensure clean and affordable drinking water for children in Michigan.
