One Health One Planet Symposium

Moms Clean Air Force National Field Director Heather McTeer Toney will be the keynote speaker at the 2020 One Health One Planet symposium, hosted by the Phipps Conservatory. This year’s symposium will focus on the topic of air quality. Pittsburgh’s air quality ranks in the dirtiest 8 percent of U.S. cities and contributes to higher rates of heart and lung disease and other serious health issues. The four sessions of the symposium will cover outdoor air quality and health, indoor air quality and health, environmental racism, and fracking, the cracker plant, and policy. Find more details here.
