Join Moms Clean Air Force Colorado and Mountain Mamas on September 9 for a webinar about methane, the damage it does to our kids’ health and climate, and how you can participate in two important public hearings about methane pollution regulation in Colorado.
Methane is not just a greenhouse gas that is up to 80 times more potent than CO2 but also a dangerous pollutant. It accounts for nearly 25% of Colorado’s greenhouse gas emissions and contributes to our toxic air pollution.
Colorado’s Air Quality Control Commission is preparing to make critical decisions about methane and oil and gas operations in our state and will hold public hearings on these issues in September. These hearings are our chance to have stronger protections put in place to ensure clean air and a healthy climate for our children.
