New Mexico for Strong Clean Car Standards to Protect Public Health

On November 18, at 10:00 AM MST, Moms Clean Air Force New Mexico will host Lan Sena, Albuquerque City Councilor for District 1, and clean air advocates for a virtual press conference calling on New Mexico’s federal elected officials to support the strongest federal clean car standards possible from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Speakers will also urge Governor Lujan-Grisham to make New Mexico a 177 state, one of two standards states can choose to follow, thus setting even more aggressive standards than those at the federal level.
