Iowa Climate Resiliency Forum

On September 1, Moms Clean Air Force Iowa organizer Karin Stein will participate in a virtual discussion with Representative Cindy Axne and Iowa advocates hosted by the Iowa Environmental Council and Environmental Defense Fund.
The event will bring focus to needed federal infrastructure investments in climate resiliency and clean energy. Whether it be responding to extreme weather events with community investments or strengthening our commitment to clean power, local solutions are needed.
Representative Axne will open the program with remarks. Following remarks from the Congresswoman, Iowa panelists representing the perspectives of Iowa environmental advocates, community leaders, regenerative farmers, and energy professionals will continue the conversation in a panel discussion.
