Climate & Environmental Justice Panel with Rekha Basu and Mustafa Santiago Ali

On Sunday, August 30, Moms Clean Air Force Iowa will host a webinar moderated by Rekha Basu, columnist for the Des Moines Register, on the Environmental Justice pillar of the report released in June by the House Select Committee on the Climate Crisis.
Our speakers are Mustafa Santiago Ali, Joe Henry, Manny Gálvez, Karin Stein, Catherine García Flowers, and Myrelis Díaz Martínez. Bringing a wealth of perspectives and experiences which all intersect with environmental justice issues, the panelists will discuss how pollution, climate change, government regulation, and workplace safety conditions affect communities of color, especially in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.
