Moms Clean Air Force will join Montanans for a Livable Climate for Protect Our Home: Climate Advocacy Day in Helena, Montana, on January 20, 11 AM to 3 PM, at the Montana Capitol Building rotunda. We’ll spend the day advocating for climate action from our state lawmakers, building our advocacy skills, and connecting around the common cause of nurturing a resilient and healthy Montana for all.
This event will include a climate rally, family-friendly activities, information sessions, and meetings with legislators. Activities will begin at 11 AM, and we will gather for a rally in the rotunda from 12 to 1 PM. Additional schedule details TBA.
Our goals for the day are to foster connection and build community, support democratic engagement, influence legislators to actively support urgent climate action, and empower and inspire Montanans of all ages and backgrounds to join the movement for a livable climate for all.
Moms is working with Montanans for a Livable Climate to arrange transportation from Missoula and Bozeman and help facilitate carpooling from other parts of the state. We will do our best to connect folks needing overnight accommodations with places to stay. A limited number of lunches will also be provided for participants.
